You need to have the cutter wheel. Those wheels are difficult to find. I was able to get my money backI am simply amazed at the engineering of this little circle edge punch! I have had the starter set since it launched on HSN, and I just love using all three of those cartridges to make all sorts of crafts. I was thrilled to find that Amazon was offering additional cartridges for sale and immediately ordered them. I just tried out the Wavy Stripe punch this afternoon to make a doily for a 9-inch, two-layer cake I whipped up. I used the punch on parchment paper and was at first a little concerned I might have some trouble with advancing the paper, since it's so thin and slick. However, that magnet is so strong and the gears so precise, I had no trouble at all. In less than five minutes, I had a perfect 11-inch doily. I'll keep buying new cartridges as they appear, since I'm totally addicted to these punches! Thank you, Martha Stewart!Love Martha Stewart punches! I started buying them to make decorations for my nieces wedding, but ended up buying many more and making many beautiful decorations for the home. I like these circular punches for taking plain cheap paper plates and turning them into something adorable! When using a lot, I do occasionally give the cutters a little spritz of cooking spray, let it set, then clean it up with paper towels and then punch some newspaper a few times to soak up the rest of the oil. It keeps them working effortlessly and cutting preciselywell I have only given it four stars because I have not been able yo use it very much being in the hospital. once I get my energy and strength back i plan to use it a lot more. I shopped my usual Martha Stewart hangouts and I didn't find it or, the price the other place did not see eye to eye. I will be back Amazon.I love the design of this punch. It works great most of the time but the blades go dull very fast. Also sometimes it gets stuck in the bottom metal piece and is very hard to come off. This punch requires a continuous die-cut border, what I did not know is that you need to lift and remove the die each and every time and re-position it to make the punch. The magnets that position the the die in place a re pretty good, but sometimes it takes a couple of attempts to align it or you cannot make the punch. The pattern is beautiful and so are the end results. I just find it annoying to have to lift the die each time.I have tons of the Circle punches from MS... but hadn't found this one anywhere else so when I found it here, I snapped it up right away....rec'd it today and have already punched several Triple Heart circle backgrounds for my 6 x 6 Valentine greeting cards, I love this punch, cuts cleanly and you can use the 'punched' hearts to add accents or even use them to fill the empty spaces on your punched project. This punch has become one of my new faves.yo compre este articulo, hace falta una parte necesito adquirirla, como se llama y donde la consigo aqui para comprarla.. no he podido usarla.I bought this article, it takes a part I need to get it, as it is called and where I get it here to buy it .. I could not use itDoes not cut all kind of paper/card. Paper is often too thin, so the mechanism is not working properly. Card stock is too thick - same problem. You have to find thin card stock, than it is working fabulous. I don't think, I would buy it againIt is a very pretty circle punch,( you do need the starter kit to be able to use it)You can do more than just circles with it, which is why it is a good purchaseit is ok but i do find the hearts do not all come out cleanly cut. I will have to see if sandpapering will sharpen it assuming i can get to that bitGood quick deal and it is as describedAgain, I'm a fan of Martha Stewart products. Never have anything bad to say about them.
