This punch is great for both making tiny heart confetti (it punches out seven hearts- three medium size, and four tiny- be aware: the hearts are VERY small) or for punching out a random "sprinkling" of hearts on a piece of paper- you can layer another piece of paper under the punched out bits and it looks really pretty.Martha Stewart punches are known for being a bit flimsy, so you're not going to be able to punch through more than one sheet of medium weight paper at a time with this. But if you are using it for scrapbooking or paper crafts, it's one of the nicest small heart punches available. And these are getting very hard to find, which is why I snagged one when I saw that Amazon had one.saved me the hassle of die cutting hearts. You can punch a small square of paper dead center and place it over colored card stock AND then use the tiny hearts to further embellish your project.I purchased this item because I wanted heart shaped confetti for my wedding. I began making the confetti with gusto and it was great...I could punch through 4-6 pages at a time.
