Even if you are not buying this for romantic reasons, this book has some fantastic recipes. My husband and I particularly enjoy the strawberry fish sauce among many others. Every recipe we have tried has been a winner. Each section of the cookbook is devoted to a different aphrodisiac/food which is a unique concept for a cookbook too.However, if you are a novice cook these recipes may be too difficult and time-consuming for you. Also, if you do not tend to like gourmet cooking nor enjoy experimenting with different flavors or foods, perhaps you should look elsewhere. Yet for the intermediate and/or gourmet home cook (or even a beginner who doesn't mind putting in the time to learn to make the recipes), I definitely recommend this cookbook.
