Awful product. Just got back from a walk attempting to use this. For those of you desperate to end "pulling" during walks, I just recommend you teach your dog to heel the old fashioned way with strict commands and lots of treats. This product looks as though it's supposed to function like a martingale but it fails at that because it puts all of the pressure on the noseband and no communication whatsoever at the back of the neck. It also fails as a head collar because when redirecting your dog it pulls in the opposite way of which you want to go.This head collar does not communicate your intentions to your dog whatsoever, it is merely muzzle torture pulling your dog's nose down to the ground and compressing the jaws shut. I've personally already trained the dog I walk with to do a proper heel without this product on a normal collar and leash, the purpose of utilizing the head halter was supposed to help redirect him from distractions and aid in communicating for new tricks, but it barely did its job.Alternative product: I am interested in trying the New Trix head halter because their design puts no forceful strain on the dog's sensitive face and puts all of the communication on the back of the head (so, more humane).
