I love this stamp and punch set. Instead of stamping many different butterflies, I used black ink and just stamped one. Then I scanned it into my computer. I put it in a card making program (Print Shop) using a full page. I copied the image and pasted it along the left edge of the paper, making sure they were all in line. Then I grouped the whole line into one image, copied that, reversed it, and put it on the right side of the page. After printing a test sheet to make sure they line up on the front and back of the page, I can then change the color of the butterfly to anything I want -- say dark blue -- and print it on light blue paper. I then turn the paper over and print on the back side. There! I have a line of butterflies that I can punch out, with color on both sides of the wings! Fold the wings at the body and you have a very nice butterfly. Change the color to purple, print on pink paper, front and back, and you have more butterflies to punch out. Change the color again, more butterflies! I'm having a ball with this!I've used this a lot, and I like it but I have no idea how to make the stamps fit into the space they are supposed to go in. Mine just don't fit! Also, the stamp set needs to be lined up right on the paper or it doesn't fit right when you go to punch it. I don't use the built-in plate for the stamps, I use a separate acrylic block and since I can't fit the stamps into the space they are supposed to go in I keep the stamps separately. Other than that, I do like them and I am glad I purchased this. This item is sharp and easy to use for punching shapes of flowers. I tried it on cardstock and drawing paper. However, I am a bit confused as to how to stamp the three designs of flowers because stamp pad is not included and the small cover on top of the punch is not easy to manoeuvre as a stamp. Maybe I don't understand the mechanism of the stamps.Great punch, have used it quite a bit to punch paper, card and multiple layers of tissue. Works perfectly, no issues so far. I also have the Martha Stewart snowflake punch which does not work on tissue at all so I was glad this worked on 6+ sheets at a time with really crisp results. I mainly use this for project with my 4 year old and she does all the punching (with supervision!). One project was a candle holder with tissue flowers and another was water color flowers. It’s OK. The punch gets stuck quite often and the stamp for the middle of the flower isn’t the best quality. I was surprised, most of Martha’s brand is higher quality? Expensive and not worth the money in my opinion, however I do like the flower and use it since I have it. If I had known what I do know I wouldn’t have purchased this. What can I say, the punch punches just as expected and also able to stamp to get the touch details. I recommend it , I wish I could post of the pictures of the things I made, but it doesn't give me the option. Oh well enjoy it , I hope it helps in your decision making. I thought it was a deal. This is an unusual punch. It is actually a punch and a stamp. You can punch flowers and paste on cards or you can stamp them onto paper with different colored stamps. Nice construction. These are my absolute fav kind of hand paper punches (MS brand). With weak wrists and hands, I can squeeze gently and get crispy punched items to pop right out. Yay! The stamps are an added plus as you can customize your punches, or just use an acrylic block and make unique wreaths etc with the stamps :DAwesome piece of crafting kit. Absolutely love how you can store the stamps in the top. Variety of decoration so you can match the ink to your card, makes the butterfly look amazing.A lovely Martha Stewart butterfly punch with stamps to create different looks. By far the most used punch by my craft group.Easy to useThank you.I like the combination.
