Yes these sponges are very small. I had read plenty of reviews about it and expected it but when I opened the box I was not prepared. They are about the size of an oreo cookie!! very tiny. However they are really gorgeous and look great in my small apothecary jar which is why i loved them. They are great for a small jar but if you are hoping to fill something over a few inches in height this is not for you. (sorry these were not used for art just for fillers and decoration).
