Martha stewart brand paints are going to be sorely missed by me. I do rock mandala art and have absolutely loved the colors and textures of the paints for this purpose. This paint does not disappoint.I have used several brands of acrylic paint for polymer clay and this line of paints is the absolute best, in my opinion, for polymer clay work. In addition to working very well for any technique where you would use acrylic paint on polymer clay, it is the absolute best brand and line for doing crackle effects on polymer clay. The crackle effect is very pronounced and easy to achieve with this paint. Also, the variety of colors is excellent. I bought four colors initially and after experimenting with it for only one day I ordered several more colors.I used Martha Stewart's Acrylic Pearl Paint, Aquarium to paint the outside glass back of my 5.5 gallon aquarium. I used a foam roller, and the paint glided on very smoothly. The first two coats remained translucent so that light could shine through. However, I wanted to mask the filter and the heater cords, so I applied four coats so that no outside light can shine through to silhouette the workings on the backside of the fish tank. I alternated roller direction - first coat vertical strokes, second coat horizontal, etc. There are no streaks or unevenness to the color, which is beautiful, slightly iridescent and fairly true to the sample on Amazon. The paint stuck to glass without any problems and has dried to a hard finish. The effect is quite lovely and adds depth to the tank. When the fish & the tank decorations are added, it isn't immediately noticeable that the back is painted at all. I couldn't be happier with this product and give it a well-deserved 5 stars.I used this to fill in spots on an accent door for our bathroom. The color was spot on and looks so nice!I reviewed this line of paint for a different color I bought. I use these mostly for working with polymer clay. There are a variety of techniques where I use acrylic paint on the clay. This line of paint does a beautiful job with every technique that I have used it for and it far exceeds the performance of any other acrylic paint I have used for crackle effects on polymer clay.I used two bottles of the Aquarium color with some stencils to paint about 20 face towels for my friend's bachelorette and it turned out pretty good. It's been about a year and the color has not faded. You do have to paint either all one direction or go back and forth on the towels, which mostly depends on personal preference. Overall it worked well for me and the color still holds.Very pretty true to nature mother of pearl look. Not the cheapish look that sometimes shimmers in to many different colors. I used this just slightly diluted for white table lamp bases. I took the harshness away from the white without darkening the all over appearance and without looking to "glitzy" in the end. Easy to apply, no streaking, a little will go a long way if you dilute it to just add a sheen over any other color. Excellent product!I love all these paints. They work on all my projects from dot painting too painting ceramic pots.best paint I have ever used for outdoors items, amazing quality and coverage.best paint I have ever used for outdoors items, amazing quality and coverage.Gorgeous colour works great on wooden signsgreat craft paintI love it.
